The amazing Darby Karchut has another book coming out. No, not the sequel to Griffin Rising (though, that is coming out in April). This is something completely different, and to be perfectly honest, I can't wait to read it.

So, introducing Finn Finnegan...

Finn (not bleedin' Finnegan) MacCullen is eager to begin his apprenticeship. Armed with a bronze dagger, some ancient Celtic magic, and a hair-trigger temper, Finn is about to show his enemies the true meaning of "fighting Irish."

Finn Finnegan will be published by Spencer Hill Press March 12, 2013 (I know! So cruel that we have to wait until next year, but that’s publishing.)

Darby is nothing short of an amazing author. I have no doubt that this book will be fantastic, and I hope you’ll add it to your TBR lists. I plan on doing another few posts throughout the year. I’ll probably interview the lovely Darby Karchut, and do a review for you all if I can get my hands on an ARC.

Now, in other news, I have a wonderful announcement for anyone still in the dark. Yesterday, the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest announced the list of writers and books moving on to the second round, aaaaaand guess who made it in? Me. I’m still enamored by the whole thing, but my husband says he didn’t have any doubt that I would make it. The quarterfinalists will be announced March 20^th, and if I make it that far—which I hope I do!—my book will be reviewed by Publisher’s Weekly, which I can use for promotional purposes, even if I don’t win the whole thing. So expect me to be in nerves starting mid-March. I have a one-in-four chance of making the quarterfinals. And you know what? I like those odds.

I’ll be sure to keep you updated if/when I make it to the next round.
